Amanda was honoured to attend an invitation by His majesty the King in November 2022 in recognition of her contribution to small business and the UK economy. The event, held at Buckingham Palace was attended by around 100 small business owners in addition to members of the Royal family, members of parliament and well known professionals and celebrities from the World of independent business.

Drapers, “the bible of the fashion industry” for more than 130 years, and proud supporter of UK and Irish retail, announced that Destination Maya Maya was chosen as one of 2020's most Inspiring Independents. Amanda said "To receive this award is very special at any time but particularly so during the height of the Pandemic"
